You are curious about the Life Sciences and Technologies and wish to know more about what is behind, what happens now, and what may be the future.
Chemistry is the science that allows us to understand life and matter on a molecular basis. Molecular behavior and interactions are key elements for this understanding. This Summer Academy aims at familiarizing ourselves with these key elements, to see them in diverse manifestations in our daily life, expand our views of life and matter much beyond ‘just chemistry’, foster interdisciplinary thinking, and witness important future developments in science and technology, many of them to the benefit of man and society.

Teilnahme:
This Academia is addressed primarily to MSc and PhD students; however, we also welcome interested undergraduate students.
Arbeitsweise/Anforderungen:
The program entails key note lectures, interactive seminar and discussion sessions, as well as focused interactions with two other Summer Academies organized by the Swiss Study Foundation, running at the same time and place.
Literatur:
No literature studies are required. There will be hand-outs for lectures and discussion material for the seminars.
